One of the best teenagers in esports and one of Team Spirit’s superstar has been slammed a huge price tag for any potential team who’s interested in signing him.

The player is the youngest-ever player to be named an HLTV MVP at the tournament and the winner of MVP awards at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2023 and BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024.

Donka is the player in view after Team Spirit scout Alexey “OverDrive” Birukov quoted a ridiculous number as the buyout price of the youngster away from the team.

OverDrive immediately added that the 17-year-old player wouldn’t want to go any other place anyway. The Russian teenager took tier 1 CS by storm in 2024, racking up a 1.70 rating at IEM Katowice.

The numbers were enough to help him break a milestone by becoming the youngest-ever player to win HLTV MVP at the tournament. His profile has been rising since he initially won the MVP awards at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2023 before repeating that feat at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024.

Donk’s style of play on and off the server gives seasoned pros alot of problems when he faces them. It is no surprise that a lot of big teams continue to show interest in him.

Team Spirit’s impressive performances in recent weeks have attracted interest, although the player himself has stated that he has no intentions of leaving the organization.

This has been reiterated by the organization’s seasoned scout while speaking in an interview where he stated that.

“donk has no desire to depart on account of the team environment and camaraderie, but if a deal was to be made, a mere million dollars wouldn’t suffice. Five million sure is a lot—to compare, G2 supposedly signed m0NESY for $600,000 at the age of 16 back in October 2021. But hey, if that’s the price to get donking, would anyone really bat an eye?” OneDrive said.
