Ninjas in Pyjamas have employed a European roster as the organization makes a return to the VALORANT on Tuesday.

The team will navigate the EMEA region VCT Game Changers, put together by Riot Games. It’s a competition that has been organized so that marginalized genders can compete in the circuit. Therefore, it’s not surprising to see NiP name an all-female roster the first time the organization does so.

NiP signed the trio of Paige “Padge” Thomas, Öykü “OYKU” Büyük, and Nelly “Raina” Sosobrado on Tuesday.

It is a welcomed development to see prominent esports organizations like NiP move into an official and competitive circuit for marginalized genders.

The organization has been engaging in VALORANT for the last three years, but NiP, since September 2021, hasn’t fielded a VALORANT roster.

The organization allowed its male players to leave after they failed to secure the franchising program for 2023.

Meanwhile, the three players that were signed by NiP on Tuesday have all played together with Rix.GG Lightning in 2023, finishing in 5th-6th in Game Changers EMEA: Series III in October.

The other players that will complete NiP’s roster will be made available and revealed later.

The 2023 VALORANT Gamer Changers EMEA circuit has four different tiers compared to previously.

They are the VCT Game Changers EMEA: Academy and VCT Game Changers EMEA: Emergents, VCT Game Changers Contenders, VCT Game Changers EMEA, and Game Changers Championship.

Elsewhere, Cloud9 are in the news as they are targeting Virtus Pro player Timur “buster” Tulepov to replace Timofey “interz” Yakushin.

Buster has been on the bench for Virus Pro since May 2022
