European League of Legends teams have begun preparations for the playoffs after the completion of the 2024 LEC Summer Split regular season. However, this has not stopped followers of eSports from scrutinizing the performances of some of the players who are featured, and now they have discovered surprise statistics.

One pro has managed to pull one of the most unwanted stunts in the history of LEC after he finished the regular season without securing a single kill. Karmine Corp’s starting support, Raphaël “Targamas” Crabbé, is the man who has the honors.

Raphaël “Targamas” Crabbé had 24 deaths all through the 2024 LEC Summer Split regular season, but he himself finished with no kills. On the brighter side, he recorded 68 assists, according to League stats site Oracle’s Elixir.

Although it is generally not expected of support to rake up a lot of kills because of his duty, which is more of setting up the team, especially with a champion pool that has Alistar, Nautilus, Rakan, and Rell.

However, despite that fact, it is unusual and very rare to go an entire split without recording even a single kill as a player. Early-game skirmish and a late-game kill are one sure way to always get one elimination. The statistics favor Targamas’ defense in this case, which is his playing position as the league’s bottom ten players in kills for the past split are all supports, and they all have recorded at least one kill, with Targamas being the exception.

In other instances, Fnatic’s starting support, Yoon “Jun” Se-jun, has two kills, 82 assists, and 21 deaths. Meanwhile, Karmine Corp’s were inconsistent in the 2024 LEC Summer Split, losing to the likes of SK Gaming, Fnatic, G2 Esports, Team BDS, and the lower-seeded Team Heretics in a 4-5 record.

In the playoffs, Karmine Corp will face the defending LEC champions G2 on Saturday, July 13.
