The beginning of the month witnessed another milestone in the eSports industry as ISFE launches their ISFE Esports in partnership with key stakeholders in the industry.
The Interactive Software Federation of Europe (ISFE) is an independent software federation that represents the goals of the interactive software sector in the European continent.
ISFE, a Brussels based video game publisher has partnered with bigwigs from the European eSports industry to launch ISFE sports.
They announced this on their Twitter account, stating their decision to use the launch as a medium is to grow the potential of eSports in Europe, boosting the flow of talent into the sector and also to promote a fair and diverse eSports culture.
With the abovementioned views in mind, ISFE has partnered with the major stakeholders in eSports to launch the ISFE Esports with principal members include: Activison-Blizzard, Ubisoft, EA, Supercell, Twitch, Riot games, Epik games, ESL and Ukie.
ISFE Esports looks forward to partnering with more stakeholders to discuss and arrive on key issues affecting the esports sector. They will also seek to align eSports policies around Europe as well to identify threats & challenges.
ISFE Esports will also coordinate the interests of the European regulators and policymakers, while also creating awareness for Esports. The partnership is also expected to promote fairness and diversity in the gaming industry.
