Popular League of Legends streamer Michael “Imaqtpie” Santana has said the current state of AD carry is now like working a 9 to 5 job.

Speaking on the current state on the farm-dependent during a Twitch live stream, Imagtpie, took the tier-one tower in bot lane 13 minutes into the game while playing as Twitch.

While his mid laner and jungler pushed the opponent mid lane inhibitor, he commented on the role saying it is a 4v5, and he is still bound by farming the wave.

He added that without doing that, he would end up making it a 4v4.

The streamer further stated that his Zoe and jungle are all having fun as they run around killing people. He also noted that he sits and works 9-to-5 while the juglers continue to party”.

It should be noted that Imaqtpie is not the only one that shares this sentiment. , G2 Esports star mid laner Rasmus “Caps” Winther had earlier in the month commented on the stale state of the bot lane and spoke of the upcoming changes expected in the role. He stated his dislike for playing AD carry in solo queue.

While noting that getting the items makes a player strong, Caps said it is frustrating to play as ADC until that point. This, he said, makes him feel that everyone’s job is to kill each other, which becomes a struggle for survival. For this to be achieved, he said no player has the greatest tools to survive.

To bring about improvement to the game, AD mains might soon smile as Riot prepares to buff the role next week with the game’s upcoming patch.

The detailed changes have been explained by League of Legends lead gameplay designer Mark “Scruffy” Yetter. He said the changes would come with the patch earlier in the week. The changes, as mention, include buffs for Zeal items and specific “scaling focused” changes for Lucian, Tristana, Kalista, and Vayne.

According to reports, the proposed changes will become effective with Patch 10.11 on live servers for May 28.
