Virtus Pro has registered its third win in an exciting encounter against Cyber Legacy in the ESL One Los Angeles Online League.

The game against the CIS sides witnessed bad manners and a double rampage that produced a clean performance from the winners to extend their unbeaten streak in the Dota 2 competition.

Having won all their three series so far which had been coincidentally against CIS teams, this could mean that VP is staking claim to be the leader of the region.

It could be recalled that after a roster change in the offseason, VP had a bad season. This win is needed at this time to bring back the team’s confidence, and they have been producing their strongest performance recently; all thanks to their mid laner no[o]ne, who has been mercurial alongside their recruits.

Meanwhile, Cyber Legacy has only recorded a win in the series so far, but they are looking good.  As they continue to grow, CL which had contracted VP’s former coach, Arseniy “”ArsZeeqq”” Usov, were unable to stop VP from winning the match.

In game one, VP went for the obnoxious Techies, while no[o]ne went for the Invoker. Cyber Legacy on their part chose a fast Necronomicon 3 on their core Dazzle and used the hero’s strong sustain to push up early, as they were wary of their opponent.

Zayac used his vast Techies experience to use fog of war and trees to hide his mines. While Zayac was also sniping kills on enemy heroes, VP was able to whittle down Cyber Legacy’sadvantage with no[o] ne’s Quas-Wex Invoker being another menace to their fellow CIS team. With this, he was able to land some pivotal Tornado-EMP combos to turn fights.

VP was able to close out the game in a clean fashion due to some classic bad manners from their opponent.

In the second game, VP chose Resolut1on, who later became the star of the show. The preseason recruit who stuck with the team had smooth transitions to the offlane role which was so easy for the Ukrainian that had been struggling there for some time.

VP also picked a greedy Enigma support which forced Resolut1on’s Pangolier to solo his lane, but survived with no death and recorded a solo kill on the opposing support.

His impact became intensives after that, leading to a double Rampage to finish the game.

VP now occupies the number spot in Group ahead of undefeated OG which they will meet on April 12.
