After having dominant start to 2020 LPL Spring, eStar’s losing streak continues after another convincing loss against JD Gaming on Tuesday.

The rookie LPL squad is suffering from the previous defeats, which could have affected the Team’s confidence level.

After joining China’s LPL this season, eStar made a strong start and were on a rampage sending all teams to the cleaners and occupied the top spot for most of the split, even at the expense of the former world champions, FunPlus Phoenix and Invictus Gaming who they also defeated.

But they have been suffering indifferent results recently, especially in the past two weeks.

Their losing streak began against Vici Gaming, and later to Royal Never Give Up. The recent loss to JD summed it up.

According to pundits, the mistake of the squad is being exploited by all the teams that have defeated them after carefully studying their tactics.

In the first game, which was for about 10 minutes, eStar had no answer to JD’s jungler, which was on Kindred and had found itself in a difficult situation as Kindred secured objectives. The passiveness of the Kindred makes them tough to play against.

After the Eternal Hunters won the game, they were expecting a ban on Kindred in the second match, but eStar didn’t ban the champion.

While refusing to replicate their success in the first game, JD, in the second game, went for a jungle Sylas pick, which was even better than the first game. Syas can steal Ornn’s ultimate, and so it did from eStar. This led to extreme team fights, which was again won by JD as they added to the mystery of the rookie squad.

eStar that is occupying the second spot in the standing could lose it to FPX.

After the loss, the management of the team apologised to their fans, adding that being a young squad, they still have a lot to learn, and they will continue to garner more experience. The Team further said the game would be reviewed, and adequate adjustments will be made to bring improvement in their next match.

Next on their schedule is against Team WE.
