Team Liquid has secured passage into the Dota 2 grand finals of the at ESL One Germany 2020 after taking down mudgolems today 2-0

Team Liquid recently defeated Team Secret before taking down mudgolems to continue their winning form in the tournament.

Liquid was in total control of the game as the led through game one. Not leaving without a fight,  Adrian “Fata” Trinks and his team gave Liquid a run for their money with solid plays despite being down nearly 10,000 gold around  30 minutes.

Michael “miCKe” Vu’s Juggernaut was too much for mudgolems to handle as it took the opponent apart to take game one.

Game two was the other way around initially as mudgolems led most of the game, leaving Liquid with a smart play option to keep things competitive.

After committing a few errors, Liquid was on the brink of dropping a game. But all thanks to miCKe, who brought his A-Game with brilliant Phantom Assassin paired with Max “qojqva” Bröcker’s Death Prophet.

This was made possible after Liquid took out Oliver “skiter” Lepko’s Spectre that was the focal point of his team’s push.

Fata rushed in single-handedly attacking their Ancient while trying to force Liquid’s attention back to their base, but Tommy “Taiga” Le mitigated the damage by staying back. He succeeded in taking him out, paving the way for his team to close things out.

The grand finals will now witness an action-packed event between Liquid and Natus Vincere.

This meeting will help fans see the first team unnamed Secret to claim a tier-one title in 2020.

Still, on Dota 2, the Epic League Closed Qualifier is around the corner.

The games will witness actions from three new Dota 2 teams in a set of four groups. This is where the team that will make it to the playoffs will be decided.

Tempo Esports and EXTREMUM take the top spots in the open qualifiers while Nemiga Gaming snuck follows.

The closed qualifiers that will witness actions from 16 teams is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, November 3.
