In April 2018, DreamHack had signed a partnership deal with Challenger mode.

DreamHack is an online lifestyle festival – a place for gamers and digital natives to come together to compete and make esports culture great through competitions and championships.

DreamHack hosts gaming festivals every year as well as manages esports productions.

On the other hand, ChallengerMode is a Swedish based company managing an online esports platform founded in 2013 and led by CEO Robel Efrem.

The partnership between Challengermode and DreamHack in 2018 has so far enabled DreamHack to use ChallengerMode’s platform exclusively for CS: GO, League of Legends, and various other tournaments.

Today the duo announced their decision to extend the partnership period up until 2021.

Following the extension of the partnership, DreamHack will continue to use Challengermode’s platform for online and community events with the inclusion of Dota2 online tournament, which is an on-going weekly series. Dota2 series is apparently worth $9.94k in prize pool.

The chief procurement officer at DreamHack Micheal Van Driel in a release said: “DreamHack has always been about bringing value to our communities and having ChallengerMode as a partner has helped us to do that online in a more proficient way than we did before.”

Meanwhile, ChallengerMode’s CEO Robel Efrem maintained that they couldn’t be more happy with the announcement of the extension of the partnership between them and DreamHack even after the great exploits they have achieved together.

He also said that “DreamHack is one of the most prominent tournament organizers in the world and they have become great partners over the years with ChallengerMode and hope that with the extension of partnership, the duo will continue to attain greater heights.”

With DreamHack’s track records of uniqueness and ChallengerMode’s professionalism, the two esports platforms, through the partnership extension, will be in a perfect position to usher in actual landmark achievements in esports.
