Legendary carry player Ame showed that form can be temporary, but class is permanent after impressing on his return from retirement on the first day of Dacha Dubai 2024.
Ame featured for Xtreme Gaming against BetBoom Team. Xtreme showed its prowess as Ame impressed Yatoro with his Naga Siren performance in the second game.
The latest TI winner, Yatoro, praised Ame’s game on his telegram channel, stating that it is the most beautiful gameplay he’s seen recently.
“After watching 10 minutes of Ame’s game on Naga, I officially declare that this is the most beautiful carry game I’ve watched in the last year,” Yatoro said.
Ame and Yatoro are iconic talents in the Dota 2, with both players respecting each other. Yatoro won a second TI in 2023 and immortalized Ame on the Aegis of Champions by adding a letter that’s pronounced as Ame’s first name to his in-game tag.
This, Yatoro said, was in celebration of a man who inspired his gameplay. Yatoro has been open about how Ame inspired his gameplay.
He practiced by watching replays from the Chinese Dota 2 scene. It is not a one-way thing, though, as Ame has also previously mentioned how he’s impressed by Yatoro’s skill in livestreaming during his retirement.
Although many expected Ame to return to pro-Dota 2 in 2023, he’s finally returned to the big stage in Dubai. Ame will be ever present in 2024 as Xtreme will also attend DreamLeague Season 22, Games of the Future 2024, and ESL One Birmingham.
