Omen has a great attribute of smokes and global teleportation. But to deal with it, all you need to do is to play a mind game with a known enemy that capable of teleporting to anywhere.
This was exhibited by a streamer, Burghertown, against one of the most slippery agents in VALORANT. The player was forced away by three opponents while defending a bomb site during the time they were coming into the area. He succeeded in picking up an extra kill with two other enemies knowing about his compromised position.
Due to the situation, he found himself, Burghertown, through a huge play leans on the unexpected.
With the use of his ultimate, Omen uses his teleporting ability to anywhere on the map. This is usually announced to all living players.
This time around, he used the ultimate to teleport right next to himself instead of repositioning, leaving his teammates confused initially. They began to realize as he crept forward, that this might be one of the smarter outplays they have seen in VALORANT.
Surprising everyone that he would be able to do that- which is teleporting next to himself, he left many thinking about the move. The two remaining players turned their backs to Burghertown, expecting him to reposition himself around the map. This gave him a smooth clutch to secure the round.
This is an advice for any player aspiring to choose Omen players. Although opposing teams usually think that the teleport of Omen will be behind them for a flank, know that whenever they hear the sound of his ultimate. But you can be creative with your portal placements. This would trick your enemies with ease.
