Five players came together to give the Tundra eSports a win that’s so good to be the true and one that has been coming so much so that they were tagged a “bunch of cheaters” by Puppey just before the end of The International 2022.

Before the win, Tundra had been sailing in Dota 2, winning with ease and to the surprise of others.

It was a combination of hunger and experience for the five players involved in the historic win as they were winning for the first time in their careers.

The team won a total cash prize of nothing less than US$8,489,501 for their first-place finish at TI11. Tundra’s midlaner Leon “Nine” Kirilin and carry player Oliver “skiter” Lepko, Sneyking, and Aui_2000 are some of the most experienced players in the game

However, it must be stated that Aui_2000 performed as a coach in Tundra’s run and thus became the first person to win Tl as a player and as a coach. His win was from years ago when he was with evil genius, winning the Tl15 and North America’s only Tl since then.

Sneyking, on his part, has been in the industry since 2012 and has played with two dozen teams, with Tundra being his 24th.

Meanwhile, Tundra had a 14-4 statistics from the Group Stage, which they topped and went one better in the upper bracket remaining unbeaten.

The finale was a challenging game for Tundra, but their experience surpassed that of Secret, who tried all game to outwit and crack their opponents. However, Tundra was never out of heroes.

The two teams will share the Tl11 prize pool, which is growing and won’t lock until the 2nd of November.

As it stands, Tundra has $8,492,444, while Secret gets $2,453,413 from a total pool of $18,872,157.
