2019 has come, and it is about to go.  ESport lovers have been entertained as game developers continue to break new grounds after several modifications.

It is indeed a great year for the game.

I will be looking at the top five tournaments in the year under review, as fans can’t wait to have more competition in 2020.

5. ONE Esports Dota 2 World Pro Invitational Singapore

The qualified Esport team slugged it out at ONE Esports Dota 2 World Pro Invitational Singapore for the Prize Pool of $500,000.00 in a tournament that saw Vici Gaming showing their dominance in Asia by winning the tournament and outclassed Evil Geniuses.

4.  Formula 1 New Balance Esports Pro Series

The players slugged it out in London, between November 9 and December 4, in the $500,000.00 competition where Red Bull eSports emerged winner beating FDA Hublot Esports Team to the prize.

3. EPICENTER

Occupying number three is the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament hosted in Moscow, the Russian capital between December 17 and 22.

This time around, Team Vitality had the last laugh by going home with the Prize Pool of $500,000.00 while Dutch side, mousesports emerged the runners up.

2. Rocket League Championship Series: Season 8

Rocket League Championship Series: Season 8, which was hosted in Spain, occupies the second position with the pool prize of $529,500.00.

The  tournament, which took place in Madrid between December 13 to 15 Game: was won by NRG Esports, who beat Team Vitality to the money.

1. The ESL Pro League CS: GO

The ESL Pro League CS: GO (ESL Pro League S10), which was hosted in Denmark between December 3 and 8, falls into the number one category with several actions and fights for the top prize of $600,000.00, which was taken home by mousesports.

Odense will be hoping to be better than the last time in 2020, who knows the prize pool might be higher as the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament gets more tensed.

With Mousesports going home with the title, the likes of Fnatic, Vici Gaming, and the likes may come up with plans to snatch the honour from them.
