It further revealed that the in-game player spending increased by 5.5 percent from July 2020. The PUGB Mobile made $208.8 million during the month.

The game called Game for Peace in China earned the majority of the revenue. The region accounted for 59 percent of the total revenue last month, while the US came second in revenue with 9.5 percent. Japan occupied the third spot with 5.2 percent.

Meanwhile, Honor of Kings, which is called Wangzhe Rongyao, occupied the second highest-grossing mobile in August.

It could be recalled that PUBG Mobile was banned on September 2 in India even though it is the most downloaded game.

Sensor Tower had earlier reported that it had 185.5 million installs. Since it has been banned in India, which is believed to due to the India-China diplomatic row, the game’s revenue is expected to take a slight hit in September.

Despite the fact that India is the most popular region for the battle royale game, the in-game player spending there is very low compared to other regions. According to Sensor Tower, the revenue from India is just at just 1.2 percent of the total.
