Marcus “MBoZe” Blanks, one of the most famous players in OpTic Nation history has made his return to professional Call of Duty after being named a substitute player for the Chicago Huntsmen’s 2020 Call of Duty League roster.

The organization announced that the 24-year-old, who last competed at a major event in 2016 would be a substitute along with former Enigma6 captain Jordon General.

MBoZe began professionally in Call of Duty in 2012 playing for organizations like SoaR Gaming, UNiTE Gaming, FaZe Clan, OpTic Gaming, and OpTic Nation.

The last major LAN event he featured in was the MLG World Finals in October 2015. In 2016, he briefly filled in for Team Kaliber at the relegation tournament for stage two of the 2016 North American CoD World League when Jevon “Goonjar” Gooljar had visa issues. The team later lost to the King Papey roster that was eventually signed by 100 Thieves in April 2016.

Expressing his delight over the development, the 24-year-old said in Chicago’s announcement video said he is glad I get to be a part of the Huntsmen.

MBoZe further stated that his team which consists of Seth “Scump” Abner, Matthew “FormaL” Piper, Peirce “Gunless” Hillman, Alec “Arcitys” Sanderson, and Dylan “Envoy” Hannon is going “to be the best.”

The franchise also made some addition by introducing Search and Destroy streamer John “x2Pac_ThuGLorD” Hartley as an SnD analyst and Troy “Sender” Michaels as the team’s head coach.

Action will resume in the 2020 Call of Duty League season, which will feature “tournament-based play” after the first event on January 24 in Minnesota.

Meanwhile, modern Warfare fans, who want some playtime during the holidays are in luck as Double XP is now live.

Infinity Ward revealed it in a blog post on the Activision website.

According to the statement, Players will earn double XP, and a double Battle Pass tier earnings rate from till December 27.

According to report, Infinity Ward might provide a tiered sale for fans looking for even more Battle Pass levels if three days aren’t enough.

Pundits have described this as a smart move after the developer had to contend with some criticism for the alleged snail-like pace of the Battle Pass level system.
