The first week of the 2023 LCK Spring Split has come, and Gon, twenty-four games have been played, but two players have managed to maintain a 100% pick rate.

The two players are League of Legends champions, and they have racked up impressive win rates too. Maokai and Ryze, according to league statistics, have been favorite picks, with the former getting ten picks compared to the latter’s four picks.

Maokai has been present in the jungle, while Ryze has been the top choice for mid-laners, losing one game in four.

Maokai sits at 70 percent after returning to play with a Patch 12.17, becoming one of the prized assets after he was tweaked by developers to become one of the best Junglers in the meta. It’s a big change for a player who has been toyed with by support, jungle players, and top laners previously.

Meanwhile, Ryze has lost only one of his four games even though he hasn’t received any big update since he had two of his abilities upgraded with a Patch 12.19. Nevertheless, they were enough to see him getting regular pro play

Meanwhile, both players have also seen their popularity transcend LCK into the 2023 LPL Spring Split. Ryze is on a 100% pick rate in the LPL, while Maokai has a 79.3% pick rate.

Elsewhere, commissioner of the LEC Artem Bykov has addressed the frequent delays experienced in the 2023 LEC Winter Split that started last week, but there have been delays that have turned 5 hours of gameplay into 8 hours.

In a tweet on Monday, Artem Bykov stated that the delays have been because of the firmware.

“The delays over the past days are caused by an issue in the firmware that is commonly used by our pros. The issue didn’t appear during the rehearsals. We are using temporary measures for now; during the week will be working on a permanent solution. Ty for the patience!” – Artem Bykov posted.

However, he assured that the issue would be worked on and resolved before the end of the week.
