Bilibili Gaming’s journey ended in the 2022 LPL Summer Split after being defeated by LNG Esports.
It’s been a tough road to qualification for the playoffs for both LNG Esports and Bilibili Gaming. Both teams made it only after winning their last regular season games in the 2022 LPL Summer Split.
But here, only one team will progress to the playoffs sport. It was no surprise to witness an intense clash between the two teams.
LNG prevailed in the end after the League of Legends team registered a comeback in game four, clinching the series 3-1 and keeping their playoff journey alive.
Starting on a strong note, LNG, in the series, were able to win back-to-back games to register a 2-0 lead.
During game one, Doinb’s Nocturne and Ale’s Kennen were the Bane of Bilibili Gaming in skirmishes. The ultimates of LNG champions were able to pierce through any resistance put up by the enemy.
They continued from where they stopped in game two, with Light and Doinb decimating the enemy lineup.
They continued their dominance with burst damage from Doinb’s Corki and Light’s Lucian, which made short work of Bilibili Gaming’s champions.
After LNG secured the Baron, they successfully pushed for the enemy Nexus and bagged the game.
As they were on the brink of a sweeping defeat, Bilibili Gaming bounced back in the next game, with Bin’s Jax playing exceptionally by continuously flanking the enemies and punishing any overextended champions.
After winning, both teams went into the next games with some aggressiveness.
Traded were a lot of turret dives, ganks, and objectives between them. The old difference never crossed the 2,000 margin as the two teams fought neck-and-neck.
The stalemate was finally broken by Ale, whose perfectly-timed Gnar ultimate caught three enemy champions off guard. After winning this teamfight, LNG pushed directly for the enemy Nexus and successfully closed out the match.
After this 3-1 series victory, LNG will now prepare for the next round of the 2022 LPL Summer Split playoffs. Their next opponent is Weibo Gaming on Aug. 19.
