As uncertainty continues to surround the future of Uzi as a pro player, LPL team Royal Never Give Up (RNG) has unveiled its official roster for the 2020 LPL Summer Split, and the legendary AD carry is not on it.

There have been rumours that Uzi had left the League of Legends team after failing to play a single game during the Spring Split.

Recall that Uzi’s contract with RNG expired on April 30, and he is now a free agent. What is still creating the uncertainty is that there has not been a comment from the team bout the development since.

The roster released by RNG for the RNG 2020 summer LoL division includes Mata, Sereno, Tabe, Shawn, and Shadow, being the coaching and management crew while the top laners are 705, New.

XLB and S1xu will perform the jugler role while Xiaohu and Cryin are the midlaners. The ADC is Betty, while Ming will play the supporting role.

Many of Uzi’s fans are worried by the silence. They fear that the legend might announce his retirement as a League pro, which he started in 2012, but endured several injuries that could reportedly end his career.

Since he is a free agent, and NG has not included him in their new roaster, it means Uzi can join a team in another region. Reports coming from quarters say that the rumoured move is being delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic, or he is still negotiating a contract with another team.

Due to the arm and lower body injuries he suffered, Uzi, in a documentary revealed that it’s hard for him to play for over a couple of hours in a row, having been reportedly told by a doctor that his arm looks like that of a 40 or 50-year-old man due to years of intense training in League.

During the LPL Spring Split, his health reportedly worsened, too, with a Weibo photo showing that he was recovering from toe surgery, alongside other minor injuries.

Uzi is yet to become a League world champion after trying on several occasions in the eight years of his activities. The closest he came to success, which was his ultimate goal in 2018 when he was rated as the most popular player and the best ADC in the world.
