On Wednesday, FURIA shocked the world of ALGS by releasing all three players on its roster as Albralelie, Pandxrz, and Xera left the org’s competitive Apex Legends team.

This is just days after Luminosity Gaming did something similar although the moves to release players are mainly because both orgs are now partners for the upcoming season. Initially, there was a stable roster that many thought would represent and compete for LAN qualification and beyond.

But with FURIA’s actions on Wednesday releasing its full competitive roster., this should allow both organizations to sign different teams ahead of the first split of the ALGS Pro League, which will start in 2024.

Now all the players who had a fantastic campaign in the Last Chance Qualifiers in 2022 and all the way to second place at the year two ALGS Championship with FURIA are now gone.

The team had HisWattson, who only moved to content creation last season, while Pandxrz and Xera completed the team alongside Albralelie, who once played for Team Liquid, FaZe, and C9.

FURIA head coach Jxmo (formerly known as PVPX) further explained that the three players were not cohesive enough for the organization to keep around.

“Unfortunately, sometimes things just don’t work out on a roster but it’s no fault of anyone individually,” Jxmo said.

FURIA will hope to delve into the North American region, where they can get a lot of rosters to pick from while there is already a big name rumored to be close to joining.

Former NRG player Sweet and his former NRG teammate Nafen are rumored to be signing to a new organization. However, more options exist with free agent squad League of Legends made up of ex-FaZe and -DarkZero members Phony, Frexs, and Xynew, or Already There, featuring ImMadness, Keon, and Vaxlon, some of whom are guaranteed Pro League spots for next year.
