One of the very best players in North America and superstar League of Legends jungler Spica, will unfortunately miss out on the competition’s 2024 Spring Split.

The player who represented FlyQuest in the 2023 season revealed this on Wednesday saying that his potential absence in 2024 is due to unfortunate circumstances.

Spica actually signed a deal to remain with FlyQuest till Moved 19 2024 but the organization is set to overhaul its team after a set of poor results, which saw them miss the 2023 World Championship having finished the summer in ninth.

Despite Spica out, the organization has gone ahead to signed European jungler Inspired in the reshuffle. However, Spica in his disclosure post on Twitter, revealed that his next plan during his teamless period is to stream full-time in the first months of the season.

The 24-year-old hasn’t confirmed that that will be on Twitch but fans expect that Twitch will be his likely option while he will start looking for new teams for the Summer after the first two months of the season.

It is expected that Spica should field several offers going into the second split of the year, as six teams will contest Spring, and if any LCS team’s jungler underperforms, Spica will enjoy and attract interest.

Spica played for TSM three years ago, a period that which he was at his peak after the retirement of veteran LCS superstars Bjergsen and Doublelift, although the latter returned a season later. The roster then rested on the shoulder of the jungler with the team having Huni, PowerOfEvil, Lost, and SwordArt.

They finished the regular season in top spot with a 30-15 record (18-9 in Summer), while Spica was named the competition’s most valuable player and in the All-Pro first team for his performance.

Meanwhile, the LCS Spring Split will start on Saturday, Jan. 20, under the new commissioner Markz.
