Fnatic’s ADC Noah has admitted that he didn’t put up his best performance in the just concluded Mid-Season Invitational 2024 and blamed it on focusing too much on the opinions of fans on social media.

Gen.G won the competition on Sunday, May 19, at the Mid-Season Invitational 2024 trophy after beating Bilibili Gaming. Fnatic’s tournament ended at the Bracket Stage after losing to the eventual champions Gen.G and Team Liquid.

According to Noah, he didn’t play well in Chengdu because he listened to a lot of others’ opinions, which led to him having panic attacks. These panic attacks affected his game so much that he was encouraged to delete social media.

Noah made this revelation on May 20 on X. “I performed very poorly in this competition and disappointed many people. […] I was greatly influenced by the opinions and evaluations of people who were not related to me; I didn’t believe in myself and started to push and pressure myself with worries about the future that had not yet happened, which eventually led to panic attacks during the series.” Noah wrote.

The player then revealed that he would focus on his games every game until the end of the year, stating that he would delete all social media and communities and focus only on himself and the people around him.

Noah is 22 and has been consistent for close to a year in a main region, so it is expected that he will have a lot of attention, but it’s disappointing and surprising that Noah is still struggling with online comments.

Nevertheless, he and Fnatic will be back with the resumption of the 2024 LEC Summer Split, with a chance to qualify for the Season Finals Worlds and also try and win a domestic trophy.
