Recently ascended BLEED needs just one more signing ti complete their full roster ahead of the 2024 season after signing Former Paper Rex and X10 Esports player Javier “Egoist” Chua.

Egoist will add flexibility and talent to the talented BLEED, who dominated regionally in 2022 and 2023, while the organization hopes to put in good work as they go into their first tier-one appearance.

Interestingly, Egoist is quite familiar with the BLEED team as he faced them with X10 Esports in back-to-back splits in the Malaysian and Singaporean regions as BLEED swept X10 Esports 3-0 to earn their title.

X10 was the last hope for a regional defense in Ascension in the second split, and X10, but their effort was fruitless as they lost their chance in Ascension.

Egoist statistics on X10 and across tier-two VALORANT are above average in his region, while his stats for Split 2 showed he had a 22.7 percent clutch rate, meaning in 97 clutch scenarios, he won a league-leading 22 of them, the best rate regionally in this regard.

Egoist is known to play, most notably, the Sentinel role, and agents like Killjoy and Cypher, who are usually the ones that are the last line of defense. His consistency for his teams is impressive, even though other statistics are not as good.

He adds to BLEED’s strength as the best regional team, while X10, who is always rivaling or trying to meet up, has always fallen short, and they will also miss the quality of Egoist.

In 2021, Egoist was with Team SMG before his break out and was helping them second place consistently as they lost to the likes of Paper Rex and X10 before he moved there as they were on the rise as at then.

Moving to BLEED now gives him the opportunity to prove that he can compete in tier-one competition.
