American organization Cloud9 will make a reshuffle to their CS:GO, squad, as they are reported to be interested in changing a player.

The change is expected to be a major one as Timofey “interz” Yakushin is set to be replaced, according to reports by CIS leaker Alexey “OverDrive” Birukov on Monday.

Already there are loads of players set to replace the player, including Igor “Forester” Bezotecheskiy, Sanjar “SANJI” Kuliev, and Timur “buster” Tulepov.

Entripiq’s Igor “Forester” Bezotecheskiy was placed on the transfer list by the organization on the 13th of October. The duo of SANJI and buster, have been limited to bench roles, and their situations may not change anytime soon with Virtus Pro winning the IEM Rio Major title.

While buster was limited to the bench in May, Sanji was dropped into the bench role in October.

While the organization is yet to make any official confirmation, should it go forward, it will be the first change to the Cloud9 team since Abay “HObbit” joined in July 2012.

While C9 won the IEM Dallas 2022 in the first half of 2022, the team failed to replicate the same success in the second half of the 2022 season.

Nevertheless, C9 got to the quarterfinals of the Rio Major quarterfinal and the semifinals at the ESL Pro League Season 16.

Meanwhile, reports from elsewhere say that former CS:GO coach Nicolai “HUNDEN” Petersen has been unbanned by Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC).

Nicolai “HUNDEN” Petersen was banned in August 2021 for two years for allegedly sharing a strategy from Heroic with one of their opponents.

The action earned him a suspension which bars him from featuring as a coach or as a player in any competition organized by ESIC members, including ESL, DreamHack, and BLAST.

However, the Dane can now participate in their events after getting unbanned based on a press release by ESIC on Monday.
