Mudgoelms is now in need of a new mid laner afte Duško “BoraNija” Boranijaševic left the team on Monday.

The Serbian midlaner announced his departure, and he is yet to state his next destination.

BoraNija’s had been an integral player in mudgolems after playing for several tier-two teams in his three-year career. He is known to have proved his mettle on heroes like Lina, Storm Spirit, and Snapfire. His superb contribution was crucial during mudgolems’ performance against Europe’s best.

Mudgolems showed that they meant business by taking the online scene by storm since their formation in September. The team comprised of veterans of the European scene, who succeeded in taking up several giants in their way. One of their high points was the win over the seemingly invincible Team Secret.

They also ensured two podium finishes in the first two tournaments they featured in; BTS Pro Series Three and ESL One Germany 2020.

However, they failed to perform in their most recent tournament. The roster’s failure to live up to expectations might be the reason for the change in personnel.

Having announced themselves on the big stage due to their impressive form, many expected mudgolems to cause a further upset in Division One of the EPIC League, but they ended up finishing rotted to the bottom of the table with just two series win in the group stage. They were subsequently relegated to Division Two.

A few weeks ago, mudgolems’ offlaner 33 had revealed that the stack wants to play for an organization ahead of the new Dota Pro Circuit.

With quick changes to their roster culminated with their recent underperformance, it seems the team is pulling the trigger too early.

BoraNija’s performances might have caught the eye of a larger organization, which is planning to improve the roster.

So, it won’t be surprising if he returns to the top division with a top team.
