100 Thieves on Monday confirmed its roster for the 2023 VCT season, making the majority of their 2022 roster members a big part of their 2023 team.
The official confirmation was made on the organization’s social media on Monday, as there was one addition to the significant four from last season.
Asuna, Derrek, stellar, and bang will be joined by Matthew “Cryocells” Panganiban, who was previously with XSET.
Cryocells’ addition to the team, as announced in September by the team owner Nadeshot, has generated a lot of talks and reactions, but the team’s manager, Daniel “ddk” Kapadia, has spoken about the player’s skill and how he can add quality to the team.
“We’re very excited regarding Cryo’s skillset. He’s a player that can instantly react and has a very high mechanical skill ceiling. We’re looking for that increased pace in that position, and I think that will allow us to do a lot more with the team.” ddd Kapadia said.
The team also intends to improve and expand Cryo’s agent pool in the long run. This is according to manager Michael “Mikes” Hockom, who recently replaced Sean Gares as the head coach of the side last week.
Sean Gares left his position as the head coach unexpectedly, and T100 didn’t hesitate to quickly find a replacement for the position.
However, there is still one piece of addition to be done before T100 can finalize its roster, with the need to add a substitute player before its roster is completed.
The team participated in the Americas League 2022 and will maintain a similar set of players as they keep on the road to keep their structured approach to the various competition in the League of Legends division.
