The return of SK Telecom T1 to Worlds has gone about as well as they could have possibly hoped.

The legendary Korean team earlier in the day dismantled Clutch Gaming. This has been one of the most one-sided matches at Worlds 2019 so far as the game wasn’t even close.

The Korean team show Clutch Gaming how to run the show by taking a huge lead early in the match and coasted to victory with masterclass performances. Superstar Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok and top laner Kim “Khan” Dong-ha were the ones behind their winless streak.

The perennial World Champs needed only 25 minutes to take down the North American third seed.

SKT took to their Twitter page to express delight over the progress made so far.

“Worlds2019 Group Stage W3L0 Never doubt who we are. We dominate the Group stage by taking a 3-0 winning streak against @ClutchGaming,’ the tweet read.

Clutch Gaming’s Heo “Huni” Seung-hoon finished the game with six deaths, and no kills after trash-talking SKT before the match. He will, therefore, have to wait a while to get another chance at facing Khan with the hope of toppling the game.

The last three games have shown the other competitors what the Korean team is made of. This indicates that they are on another level right now.

For SKT to be defeated, every team at the tournament may need to play a perfect game even to have a chance at beating them.

China’s Royal Never Give Up is also having a good time in the tournament, and they looked close to the only team that beat the Korean first seed. It could be recalled that they, too, were bested on the second day of the group stage.

Faker and company have the opportunity once more to solidify their spot in the playoffs at the 2019 World Championships as they will get three days of rest before taking the stage. Their limit will be tested once again on Saturday, October 19, 2019, when they take on RNG to go further in the tournament and show their dominance over this year’s Group of Death.
