W7m esports’ Year 9 roster has won the Bulls international competition just a year after leaving two-time BLAST R6 Major winners and Six Invitational 2024 champions. The Brazilians has now made it a hat trick of BLAST R6 Major champions for w7m esports.

The roster failed to qualify for BLAST R6 Major Manchester but managed to qualify for the Esports World Cup 2024 in a campaign where they lost only to Teams BDS.

The redemption came in Montreal, where the team posted some impressive victories against BDS, including a maximum overtime win in their first Phase 2 match and a 3-1 victory in the grand finals in November.

Interestingly, the first map of the series went to Team BDS with a 7-4 win on the Consulate, but the Brazilians went back level on the series with a 7-5 win on their pick, Nighthaven Labs.

The third map was where the difference happened between both rosters as w7m eSports led 6-2 against BDS in the latter’s second map pick on the clubhouse. The Europeans didn’t relent as they pushed the map to overtime.

w7m esports took the lead on the series after the Bulls combined with a Gabriel “Volpz” Fernandes 1v2 clutch in the final round of the map. When W7M Esports picked Kafe as their second map, Team BDS started well until the Bulls quickly got the momentum of the series back.

João “Dotz” Miranda and Júlio “L0BIN” Gabriel had back-to-back clutches to put the Brazilians within two rounds to win the game which w7m esports was able to close out winning the series after winning the final map of the day with a 7-3 win.

Meanwhile, November 30 has been confirmed as the kickoff for Perfect World CS2 Major’s Opening Stage. The next stage which is the elimination stage of the event will see sixteen teams take part with the elimination stage lasting 11 days, from December 5 to 15.
