After a successful run at the 2023 edition of the CS Asia Championships, Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken has taken to social media to praise his FaZe Clan teammate, Robin “ropz” Kool, after their victorious run. For Ropz, it is another feather to his cap as he adds to the accolades he’s earned since the release of CS2.
The recent victory by FaZe is the third in just over a month in a CS2 Tier 1 tournament after FaZe Clan became the CS Asia Championship 2023 champion.
Since that period of the CS2 release and now, Ropz has been on a tear since CS2 released, racking up trophies and MVP titles along the way, forcing Twistzz to post on X as this: “Ropz is the best CS2 player, and it’s not even close. “
FaZe Clan was acquired by Complexity’s parent organization in October, leaving the future of the entity in doubt ahead of the 2024 season. This is in line with Valve’s guidelines, which say that one organization cannot field two teams in its competitions.
Furthermore, it’s not also looking like they would be ready to tear up their North American Complexity roster for Faze Clan’s lineup.
