There has been a huge wait and anticipation for TSM’s release of their roster for their big return to CS:GO ahead of CS2’s release. There has been the hype, build-up, and expectations of big names on the list, but that may not be the case if a leaked roster is anything to go by.

The leak has been reported to have Into the Breach’s former super entry fragger Cai “CYPHER” Watson, former G2 player Audric “JACKZ” Jug, the ex-North in-game leader Valdemar “valde” Vangså, previous Cloud9 support Timofey “interz” Yakushin, and up-and-coming Romanian AWPer Mădălin-Andrei “MoDo” Mirea.

The leak was done by Draky on Monday as he continued to state that the team will be coached by former G2 and Vitality coach Rémy “XTQZZZ” Quoniam.

However, the list has not impressed fans and CS:GO enthusiasts tagging it mid and average, but somehow, it seemed to have a bit of precision based on rumors prior before now, as reports indicated that TSM was linked to signing CYPHER, JACKZ, and Interz plus XTQZZZ.

Dupreeh was linked to TSM, but the move was said to have gone off, and with Draky’s latest leak, which didn’t have Dupreeh, the reports may be on point. Dupreeh’s absence may have been the reason for the lack of enthusiasm about the roster’s quality and strength.

A combination of CYPHER and Dupreeh on the same lineup was seen as a big deal and created the hype as many wanted to see one of the breakout players of the competition (CYPHER) and Dupreeh, who won the BLAST Paris Major in May.

TSM’s return to CS:GO was confirmed at the end of 2022 for the first time since January 2017 after a player rights issue in 2016 saw in-game leader Sean Gares removed.

The organization’s previous roster had big names like dev1ce before and others and went on to form Astralis in 2016.
