The BLAST Paris Major Asia RMR tournament organizer, MESA, has revealed that Mongolian players Garidmagnai “bLitz” Byambasuren, Sodbayar “Techno” Munkhbold, Baatarkhuu “Bart4k” Batbold, Tuvshintugs “Annihilation” Nyamdorj, and Chinguun “hasteka” Bayarmaa will not play under IHC after the r have revived the tag “The Mongolz” ahead of the BLAST Paris Major Asia RMR and will no longer play under IHC in the tournament, according to the event organizer MESA.
However, it’s still unclear if both the players and the IHC organization will still have collaborations after the BLAST Paris Major Asia RMR or if that is the end of their relationship together. This is coming days after IHC brought in hasteka to replace star player Tengis “sk0R” Batjargal, who left in early March.
The Mongolians played at the IEM Katowice in February and were ranked 18th in the world after beating bigger names like paiN Gaming, FURIA, and Cloud9, knocking them out of the tournament.
The Mongolz have been everpresent in Mongolia’s CS:GO scene since 2015, the tag was used by Enkhtaivan “Machinegun” Lkhagva, who was the country’s best player back then, alongside his teammates who featured in different tournaments between 2016 and 2017.
The Mongolz first game at the BLAST Paris Major Asia RMR will be on Thursday against Twisted Minds in the opening round. Twisted Minds will have Nikola “Lobanjica” Mijomanović and Shuaib “D0cC” Ahmad in their midst on April 1.
The tournament will see eight Asian teams play a double-elimination bracket, with the top two the only ones that will qualify for the BLAST Paris Major in May.
That tournament will be the last time Valve will sponsor the CS:GO tournament, with the Counter-Strike 2’s pending worldwide launch this summer.
Sentinels VALORANT coach Don “Syyko” Mui has explained that he needed some convincing to change from their conventional style at the VCT America’s 2023.
The team analyst DrewSpark gave the head coach the idea to move two players into new roles in the series against 100T. Sacy and pANcada were moved into separate positions after playing mostly as an initiator and Killjoy.
Syko explained the basis behind the move, having noticed the abilities of his players and their ability to fit in, which makes it a no-brainer for him and his team.
