Team Queso reverse sweeps SK Gaming to win Clash Royale League World Finals 2020

Team Queso has emerged the Clash Royale League 2021 world champions winner after reverse sweeping SK Gaming in the final to claim the title.

Team Queso ousted PONOS while SK Gaming defeated paiN Gaming to reach the finals. This was a repeat of the CRL West fall season finals, and Team Queso smiled again as SK Gaming couldn’t take revenge as expected.

SK was on the verge of getting their revenge when the teams faced off with a strong start in the finals. SK Gaming showed their intent by winning the two-vs-two and King of the Hill sets.

Being down afterward, Team queso had to think out of the box to overcome a formidable task from the third set. This time around, they succeeded in winning all three one-vs-one sets, which got them a reverse sweep. By the win, they had a chance to lift the trophy.

All thanks to RUBEN for defeating Javi14 in the third set.iAmJP also went on to outsmart xopsam to take the series to a fifth set.

It came down to the final set, where there was a battle between two heavyweights from the West, SK’s Morten and Team Queso’s Ruben. The duo faced off to decide the world champions, and RUBEN emerged the winner by winning two back-to-back games for Queso, which secured the set and the series for them.

The performance of RUBEN in the one-vs-one set victories eventually earned him the Most Valuable Player award MVP.

According to the prize pool split for the CRL World Finals 2020, the win fetched  Queso $100,000, while SK Gaming went home as second with $70,000.

PONOS won the third-place clash and smiled to the bank with $50,000 while paiN Gaming bagged $40,000.

FAV Gaming, Tribe Gaming, Nova Esports, and W.EDGM got $30,000 each for being part of the top eight.
