Riot Games titles have been frustrating esports players in the last couple of games because of multiple errors and issues related to Vanguard as a result of the company’s anti-cheat

Players on the League of Legends and VALORANT titles have been reporting several errors that pop up and subsequently either log them out of an ongoing match or even prevent them from loading games.

eSports enthusiasts with Riot Games have been dealing with the errors, and it has been very frequent on the platform is VAN 84, which is related to the game’s anti-cheat system.

Expectedly, Riot’s developers have been put on notice due to the rising number of errors and disconnects. Luckily for the gamers, Riot has identified that the problems are related to a backend networking issue, which will be investigated and fixed.

Subsequently, they will send out an update to the game clients once the problems at hand have been solved and rectified. They also clarified that any queue restrictions or bans that were issued due to disconnects, dodges, or AFKs will be subsequently removed.

Meanwhile, these are welcomed developments for the majority of the players who have been disconnected from different matches on different servers.

However, it has not been ascertained whether the players will get back any lost LP or RR, and Riot may not reset their ranked progress to the points where the errors began. This means that the players will now move on from these losses, and as a result, these players will have to begin climbing the ladder anew.

Meanwhile, LoL and VALORANT players, as well as enthusiasts, will pray that the connection issues will be sorted as soon as possible. It wouldn’t be a surprise if the players stay away from competitive play and ranked queues for now to ensure that they do not lose any games due to these errors.
