League of Legends superstar Rekkles has continued to impress and rack up interesting statistics for T1 Academy, although the team hasn’t had a memorable 2024 Spring Split.

The team has continued to struggle but their veteran support hasn’t really struggled as the 27-year-old is fully utilizing the situation at the team since joining the legendary organization.

Despite the fact that T1 has won just a single series all season and has only been better than Gen.G Global Academy, Rekkles remains a top-performing player in the support role. T1 have a 5-10 record and they are in the second to the last position in the league this split. They have also failed to get into the mid-tier group of the LCK CL’s regular season standings.

All of these, despite Rekkles currently leading all of LCK CL supports with 56 kills over 39 games, with a 5.6 KDA, a 12.7 percent total team kill share, and an 80.5 percent kill participation rate. He also has decent laning stats and the second-highest first blood rate of any support over the last eight weeks.

Asides Rekkles, AD carry Sin “Smash” Geum-jae is the only other player that is trying to match up with Rekkles, although there is a significant language barrier that draws him slightly away from the rest of the team.

Nevertheless, the duo have been doing well during the early stages of their matches and during some skirmishes. One of the downsides to Rekkle’s game is understanding his roaming windows and timing. Knowing when to roam, recall, or engage can become difficult if two players don’t share the same language, no matter the talent on the Summoner’s Rift.

T1 Academy as a team may still need to improve on their still lacks a bit in terms of macro play and late-game decision-making.
