OWCS World Finals will start in November at DreamHack – eSports

The conclusion to the first year of the Overwatch Champion Series is set to bring in the OWCS World Finals, which is scheduled to start soon. The OWCS is the grand finale for the open format that has unveiled many teams.

The first step is the regional before the Majors at DreamHack events. With many teams showcasing their strength at Overwatch this year, some of the teams are already laying claim to the crown for the year 2024.

The eventual winner will be unveiled at the OWCS World Finals. Teams have been participating in competitions in a bid to get a slot to the OWCS since the change to an open format. The open format has made it easier for the best teams to move to the top irrespective of their teams.

The conclusion to the OWCS for 2024 will be at DreamHack Stockholm, taking place over three days, November 22-24th, serving as an international finale, for the top teams from across the world who will be a part of the competition.

Eight teams from Asia, North America, and EMEA have secured their places, and at the weekend, the new Champions for Overwatch esports will emerge and lay their hands on decent prizes up for grabs, too.

A crowd funding has been raised and new bundle in the store for Overwatch to contribute financially to the tournament. These, and especially the Neon Streets Collection bundle, which is available till December 3rd, will boost the OWCS World Finals prize with about 25% of the revenue from these items.

Meanwhile, the following squads will be at the OWCS World Finals this year and one of them will be the first champions for this event at the DreamHack Stockholm and we will wait to see who that is.
