Storied Dota 2 organization OG has revealed the roster it will field for the remainder of 2024. The organization made the confirmation on Saturday, October 19, as they outlined the big changes made to the side.

The biggest change is the stepping down of the team captain and long-time support of Sébastien “Ceb” Debs from the roster. There are new additions also based on the initial announcements made regarding Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon and Leon “Nine” Kirilin, who will both join the roster in the Carry and Solo Mid positions.

However, there are other players who remain on the roster as the duo of 23savage and Nine join existing Adrián “Wisper” Dobles and Matthew “Ari” Walker in the three and four positions.

Furthermore, the announcement continues to reveal that Yap “xNova” Jian Wei and Maurice “KheZu” Gutmann will both be on trial on the roster as five position support and coach respectively. The original adopted five position OG anchor Ceb would have to step away with the trials of the new players.

The trial would mean that long-time OG anchor Ceb would be stepping away from his adopted five position. Malaysian star xNova is heading into his first Western European roster spot. His prominence has been in the SEA region in the last couple of years, being one of the best Dota two supports in that part.

Meanwhile, the upcoming RES Regional Champions event will see Indji “Shad” Lub be the stand-in for OG in place of 23savage. 23savage will be unavailable due to the fact that he is still working on his European visa.

Shad is a long-time Tier 2 carry who, in his most recent stints, stood-in atTundra Esports during PGL Wallachia Season 2. He helped the organization finish third in that organization.

OG also appreciated their fans in a concluding message of the announcement.

“We appreciate our fans’ loyalty as we work towards finalizing our line-up for the upcoming season.” OG posted.
