With the launch of Counter-Strike 2 looming, a former CS:GO pro player and an analyst, Mathieu “Maniac” Quiquerez, has decided to venture into another part of e-sports as he starts Life Mind Games.
The Counter-Strike 2 release comes up in the summer, and Maniac wants to give coaching tutoring with Guillaume Jolidon. The project is expected to start with limited students, and it will focus on many things, including in-game aspects of the game.
The convener, who explained that the program would be paid for, charged players to key into it to be able to improve their games.
“We believe that to grow, one must be willing to work on his game but also his personality. Counter-Strike is way more than just clicking on a mouse. It tests your mental as much as your skill. It is our wish to guide you on that path, through honesty and respect, to become a better player, competitor, and teammate.” Maniac said.
Maniac played for LDLC for majority of his career across multiple stints as well as Titan from 2014 to 2015.
The Swiss managed to make the semi-finals of ESL One Cologne Major in 2014, the closest he was to win a major title despite playing for some of the biggest teams in the early days of CS:GO.
He ventured into pro-coaching alongside envy in the first part of 2016, and they both managed to win Global Esport Cup in 2016. He returned to playing professionally after that win at the Season 1 Global ESports Cup.
He returned in May 2018 and has stuck to coaching since then. Meanwhile, it hasn’t been revealed if the coaching session will be limited to CS2.
Counter-Strike season two has been released on a limited basis to allow players test run it for any needed change before the global release.
