If there was a doubt about the best female CS2 team of all time, the doubts have been cast after Imperial Valkyries core (once Nigma Galaxy) made their stamp as the best female CS2 team of all time.
The roster has been the only winner of the ESL Impact League Finals since the competition started in 2022. They have won the competition in S6 again as ANa and co once again utilized their experience to go through and win against FURIA.
Imperial met a stubborn team and then needed to win all three maps to get past FURIA, who put up an impressive fight, but the team’s experience showed forth and unsurprisingly so because they are playing eight consecutive final wins in the circuit and they have been there from ESL Impact League Season 1.
Star AWPer ANa was the center of attraction as she always is for Imperial Valkyries; the team also benefited from Kat and Tory’s good form to thank for, as they lifted the trophy as both managed over 50 kills across the series here, especially running solid maps two and three.
Meanwhile, FURIA were not expected to reach the Grand Final or the ESL Impact League S6 Finals, so they made themselves a surprise package by getting that far. However, of any of the previous finalists that Imperial has faced, they came the closest to beating Imperial.
At the end of map three, FURIA was moving on a momentum that could have dismantled things for Imperial before Eco’s won, helped them regain their dominance, and went on to win the competition.
The ESL Impact event is still looking for a team that will be good enough to defeat Imperial after FURIA’s failure. NAVI Javelins have tried in previous events, but they still have some internal issues to sort out if they have to end the legacy of Imperial any time soon.
