Fnatic’s recent result and form have been disappointing, to say the least, after winning just two games and finishing ninth in the 2023 LEC Winter Split. The organization also dropped out of post-season contention for the first time in the organization’s history.

It’s not been am easy road for the fans of one of the most iconic teams in the LoL, who are experiencing one of their lowest lows. The team’s director Javier “Dardo” Zafra, in a vlog, revealed the mood during the winter Split.

“I think the biggest sadness came after losing to Astralis. It’s not that I completely gave up and said it’s completely over because I know, with the quality of the players that we have, they can always win against any team at any moment.” Dardo said.

Dardo continued and stated that he hopes the roster will improve and get to a point where it’s more functional because the problem is that the roster is completely dysfunctional.

The team’s early games saw the team fail in several ganks and roams with one of the lowest average gold differences, lowest first blood rate, and first tower rate in the league.

Fnatic even had Rekkles returning to the organization, but the 26-year-old posted the second-lowest kill and third-lowest kill percentage as per participation.

The marksman revealed that he felt mediocre and was disappointed with his level of performance based on his level and experience. He went on to say he knew the team disappointed the fans, and he’s disappointed as well as the rest of the team.

He went on to disclose that he had not to freak out because he needed to control his emotions on stage, but it doesn’t change the fact that the team did not play at the best level they should have.
