FlyQuest has created an in-road that got Aussie CS to claim a return after several periods of poor turnouts for Aussie CS. FlyQuest won the ESL Challenger Atlanta 2024 after their Grand Final win against BIG.

The quintet from Down Under has cupped a $50,000 cash prize while also securing a spot at ESL Pro League Season 21 in 2025. However, they got there the hard way, having to get all three maps to win the competitive CS2 championship at ESL Challenger Atlanta 2024.

While they won the first map of Ancient, map two Vertigo went overtime and perhaps should have got the job done on Vertigo, with map two going overtime. The decider was Dust2, and FlyQuest went into a 9:3 lead by halftime, but BIG had a big second half as they had a resurgence.

However, that resurgence was not enough for them, as FlyQuest’s first-half performance helped see the Australian team to a 13:9 victory.

With the exception of Dexter, it’s a first-ever CS trophy triumph for these players. AliStair is one player who won’t care about how they won but instead cherish the fact that they won after facing a lot of criticism late.

The AWPer’s numbers before ESL Challenger Atlanta 2024 were poor, but he had a different CS2 tournament, and he has been his team’s saviour on many occasions. His biggest showing on a map was when Alistair showed up on the final Dust2 decider.

He was always coming clutch against BIG, hitting some ridiculous shots in the process and displaying a different aliStair from the previous one seen in the Tier 1 scene. Although BIG is a solid team, aliStair’s performances can help FlyQuest in the bigger tournaments, especially if he can improve on what he displayed in the most recent win.
