After the reports that indicated that FalleN will join FURIA ahead of the CS2, FURIA will meet Brazil’s most influential ESports player as they try to secure the services. The two parties will meet in the coming weeks to confirm the transfer to the organization, as confirmed by co-owner André Akkari.

Akari made this known after his open letter to fans on June 4, on the backdrop that FURIA contacted Imperial about the availability of the Brazilian in-game leader.

The FURIA co-owner stated that the team wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to try signing FalleN, as most fans want FalleN on the team.

“We are going to meet, but I don’t know if we’ll agree on all variables. In case it doesn’t work, rest assured that the transfer was heavily considered. It doesn’t depend only on FURIA. FalleN is an icon; a lot of organizations want him.” the letter read.

However, Akkari revealed to fans that FURIA has five options to use in building its CS Roster but would not pay absurd buyouts as the organization may go the way of young talents still. FURIA, founded in 2017, has not made high-profile signings its priority.

The organization developed players like KSCERATO, youth, and arT under its banner before they all became recognizable players now. Only one player in the FURIA had become a big name before joining the organization. Saffee made his name majorly at PaiN Gaming.

With the Brazilian eSports industry getting a downward slope recently, especially in 2023, with FURIA, paiN, and Fluxo all knocked out in the early stages of the BLAST Paris Major in May, a FalleN agreement to join FURIA ahead of the start of CS2, will cause a major roster shuffle across Brazil.
