Former Endpoint CS:GO star Guy “Nertz” Iluz has been announced as a new member of ENCE’s CS: GO roster after he was announced as the replacement for Valdemar “valde” Vangså on Thursday.

The Israeli is expected to debut for the team in March at ESL Pro League season 17. This development comes after the team’s exit from the play-in stage of the IEM Katowice and failure to qualify for IEM Rio earlier this month.

Valde didn’t spend six months at ENCE before he was removed from the active lineup on Valentine’s day due to differences in play style.

Nertz, on the other hand, has been rising in prominence since 2022, averaging a 1.19 rating in the ESL Pro League Season 16 held in September last year.

ENCE’s CS:GO head coach Eetu “sAw” revealed that they had been monitoring Nertz doe a while, and he is a player that fits into their team’s personality.

“We’ve had our eyes on Nertz for some time already, as his skills and potential are undeniable. He seems to fit the team really well, both role-wise and in terms of personality. I’m excited to welcome Nertz to the team and start working hard to reach our full potential together!” ENCE’s CS:GO head coach Eetu “sAw,” Saha said in a statement to the organization’s website.

Nertz’s debut for ENCE at ESL Pro League Season 17 in group D next month alongside Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer, Paweł Dycha, Pavle “maden” Bošković, and Alvaro “SunPayus” Garcia.

The team will face Team Liquid, Natus Vincere, Astralis, Team Spirit, forZe, Rare Atom, and ATK.

Nertz is a 23-year-old rifler who has played the majority of his career in Isreal, but his move to ENCE makes him the second Israeli rifler to play for ENCE in

The other Israeli is Lotan “Spinx” Giladi, who is now with Vitality after leaving ENCE last August.
