Damwon Gaming, in a dominant performance under one hour, quickly dismantled Afreeca Freecs in the LCK on Thursday.

With this victory, they have proven to be a force to reckon with in the competition after winning the first game under 30 minutes and the other under 25 minutes.

The victory moves DWG to joint first on the log of the 2020 LCK Summer Split standings at 6-1. with Kingzone DragonX.

All credit to DWG’s jungler, Canyon, whose contribution was crucial in their wins. He was rewarded with both Player of the Game awards for his dominant, dominant performances on Lee Sin and Nidalee.

Although the first game was a bloodbath, Canyon, through some aggressive plays with Lee Sin, constantly invaded AFS and ganked all lanes. He was so fast and reactive that no one could see his location as it seemed he was the Flash.

Through his play, DWG built a huge early gold lead, which snowballed into neutral objectives such as Rift Heralds and dragons as they recorded plenty of kills and objectives.  With the game in their hands, DWG wasted no time crushing AFS to close out the first game in 29 minutes.

AFS was passive with its second game draft as they tried to scale into the later stages of the game with safe picks but were stopped by DWG, with Canyon being the beast.

The jugler invaded the enemy jungler and got eight times as much damage as his opponent in the jungle,  which showed his high dominance on Nidalee. DWG wrapped up the game in 22 minutes.

With AFS out of the way, DWG has booked a clash with DragonX on Saturday for the top of the table clash.

The winner because of the precise number one in the LCK Summer Split standings.
