After spending three seasons with Cloud9, ADC Berserker is on the verge of leaving a place he’s called home. Having competed as one of the biggest and brightest stars competing at the highest level of professional League of Legends in North America, it is difficult to see him move away from the organization.

However, the latest reports claim that despite still being under a contract with Cloud9 until November 2025, ADC Berserker is leaving. This is coming just a week after a report claimed that C9 mid-laner Jojopyun might be sent packing from the org because of multiple cases of tardiness in the 2024 competitive League season.

Berserker made his LCS debut in the 2022 Spring Split having joined C9 in November 2021. He started out with development teams and T1 academy before he moved to NA. Meanwhile, C9 still hasn’t confirmed the reports of Berserker’s departure, and neither have they confirmed the departure of Jojopyun.

At C9, the 21-year-old made two appearances at Worlds in 2022 and 2023 before helping the team win the 2022 LCS Championship and the 2023 Spring Playoffs.

The 2024 year has been sort of disappointing for C9 as they fell short of qualifying for Worlds in spite of the numerous roster changes they made.

This includes the introduction of Jojopyun and Vulcan before the 2024 season started, while another South Korean top lane prospect, Thanatos, was added to replace Fudge before the Summer Split.

Their best result of 2024 so far was when C9 came second place in the 2024 LCS Summer Split, recording a 6-1. However, they ended up in fourth in the following playoffs losing to the duo of 100 Thieves and FlyQuest. FlyQuest and 100 Thieves join Team Liquid as NA’s representatives at Worlds 2024.

C9 fans will have to get used to seeing new faces by the time these roster moves are confirmed.
