Boston Breach on Wednesday announced the signing of SlasheR and Priestahh. The two world champions of Call of Duty League (CDL) were announced and unveiled via Twitter by the Breach.
Their arrival is a shakeup for the CDL team, who picked a balance of a CDL Champion from last month and another from close to seven years ago between the two.
Boston Breach has only played two CDL seasons, but they managed to reach the postseason on both occasions, although they couldn’t win the world title. Meanwhile, at the 2022 CDL Championship, the team failed to win a match while they reached the top six at the 2023 event after managing to defeat the Minnesota RØKKR.
In addition to Snoopy, who was announced as returning to the team on July 10, the team’s roster now includes Priestahh and SlasheR.
Snoopy made his pro debut at the 2023 CDL Championship, and he was the first player that was officially and publicly confirmed for next season’s roster.
Meanwhile, SlasheR was playing for Team Envy when he became a world champion in 2016, and since then, he has remained consistent as one of the best players in the world. He spent the 2022 season with Los Angeles Guerrillas, where he had a strong individual season before he joined Atlanta FaZe for the 2023 season, helping the team break a trophy drought of almost a year.
Unfortunately, Atlanta failed to consolidate on that win as they finished third at four separate events and second at another before SlasheR’s departure from FaZe.
Priestahh ended his single season with the New York Subliners on a high note as the team won the 2023 CDL Championship with one of the most dominant grand-finals performances in CoD history. Priestahh failed to reach a contractual agreement with the Subliners leading to his exit on Tuesday.
