In a surprise move, former M80 and Geekay Esports player Adam “nudl” Hryceniak has joined BLED to compete in the APAC Cup 2024. The Polish player will replace Wu “Reeps96” Weichen, who is unable to travel to Japan due to visa issues.

According to a post by Patrick “MentalistC” Fan on his personal X account, Reeps96’s absence has created an opportunity for nudl to join BLED on a temporary basis. This will be nudl’s first performance since parting ways with M80 in July 2024.

The APAC Cup 2024, scheduled to take place in Tokyo, Japan, on December 1, will feature four teams competing in a knockout format. BLED will face Gaimin Gladiators in the semifinals, with the winner advancing to play against the victorious side of the other semifinal clash between FearX and CAG Osaka.

nudl’s addition to BLED reunites him with his former Geekay Esports teammate Jake “Leadr” Fortunato, who joined the MENA League side as a substitute for the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta.

This development comes on the heels of BLED’s recent split from Bleed Esports following Ubisoft’s decision to revoke the team’s license. As the team prepares for the Six Invitational 2025, nudl’s temporary addition may provide a much-needed boost to their chances.

In related news, the APAC Cup 2024 will also feature a $100,000 prize pool, with the winning team taking home $40,000. The tournament will be streamed live on Twitch and YouTube.

BLED’s roster for the APAC Cup 2024 now consists of:

– Adam “nudl” Hryceniak

– Jake “Leadr” Fortunato

– Tyler “Eclipsed” Mowry

– Ryan “Rampy” Russell

– Alex “Simp” Simpson

The APAC Cup 2024 is expected to be a highly competitive tournament, with top teams from the Asia-Pacific region vying for the championship title. BLED’s participation in the tournament marks a significant milestone for the team, as they look to rebuild and reestablish themselves in the competitive Rainbow Six Siege scene.
