One of the most talented ADC players in the world has lived up to the tag by breaking and setting a new KR solo queue record. HLE Viper has beaten the highest LP record registered in Korea and has now broken a new record in the KR solo queue.
HLE Viper sets a new Korea solo queue record by beating the highest record in Korea after the ADC player broke the 2100 LP barrier on Thursday by reaching a peak score of 2149. Viper stopped the counting at 2127 LP after losing a game but had a combined score of 225 wins and 149 losses with a 60% win rate.
Viper didn’t do it the easy way, as he had to go on a 10-game winning streak before making the record. The streak included a jungle Nidalee game before he lost to Ashe. It’s an incredible feat for a player who has been playing regularly at the peak competitive level and in Challenger for years.
His major play has been his pocket pick Ezreal, where he has played 89 games and a 60% win rate. Viper’s top four best supports for Ezreal are Zeri, Ashe, Jhin, and Kai’Sa.
Meanwhile, HLE Viper is almost 300 LP higher than the second-highest player on the Korean solo queue ahead of support DK’s Challengers team, and Kwangdong Freecs’ mid lane BuLLDoG is in third place.
Remaining ranked ratings for the remaining members of the HLE lineup:
Doran – Challenger 1440 LP
Peanut – Grandmaster 806 LP
Zeka – Challenger 1326 LP
Delight – Challenger 1499 LP
Unfortunately, Viper has underachieved having only won the world championship on EDG in 2021. Nevertheless, he is undoubtedly one of the best ADCs in the world. His next outing is expected to be at the the Worlds 2024 in September if the team qualifies.
