Despite the numerous reports making the rounds that star player Aspas is in a feud with the remaining members of the LOUD squad in the build-up to the VALORANT champions earlier this month, LOUD’s VALORANT in-game leader Saadhak has stood his ground, insisting that there isn’t anything of such happening in the LOUD Squad.
Saadhak has denied any purported rift within his LOUD squad and any of their teammates. Just before the start of the VALORANT Champions on July 25, many ESports reports stated that Aspas could leave the team ahead of VCT 2024, and the relationship between him and the others broke down.
On that particular day in July, there were reports that NRG was looking to sign spas and were desperate about it. However, in a media chat, Saadhak said back then that the team was “united and focused” on winning Champions.
However, despite the fact that the competition has ended with LOUD finishing in third position, the rumors haven’t gone away, and this has forced the Argentinian captain to once again publicly deny that there were issues in the squad.
“None of it existed, they really did our team dirty. They created rumors out of nowhere. That Aspas had gotten into a fight with Less and that Aspas was talking to another team. For fuck’s sake, we were just practicing. I talked to Aspas, and he said he didn’t know anything, that he hadn’t even talked to LOUD.” Saadhak said.
Even though the rumors have gone down, Saadhak has questioned the intent of those reports, especially as he believes that they were targeted at LOUD to diminish their focus as they headed to the Champions.
Saadhak, Aspas, and Less are all an integral part of LOUD’s VALORANT squad since February 2022 and won the VALORANT Champions 2022 together. However, their time at the organization may be winding down as their contracts will expire at the end of 2023, according to the VCT Global Contract Database.
