Boston Breach has rewarded Boston academy player Eric “Snoopy” Pérez for his successful debut at the CDL Championship in June by promoting him to the top squad on Monday and thus becoming their first signing for 2024’s Call of Duty League.

Snoopy is the fourth player from the Boston Academy to be moved into the league after spending just two months in the second division of the Breach franchise. In those two months, he made cash finishes a CDC North America Elite and CDC Toronto Open.

The 18-year-old rookie has had his time moving around numerous CoD rosters in NA, including OMiT and Hive, before finding balance at the Boston Academy, where he became consistent on platforms across Search and Destroy, Control, and Hardpoint. He was formidable alongside Seany as Boston Academy finished in a third-place finish at Toronto Open in May.

Snoopy got a 14-day contract before the major COD at the CDL Championships with the Breach and was chosen ahead of Vivid in what was a trial by fire. He made his debut in Las Vegas against OpTic Texas and Atlanta FaZe, helping the squad get their sole win in the loser bracket over Minnesota Røkkr.

He got 29 kills in Breach’s El Asilo win, proving the rookie’s readiness for life in the CDL even though the team exited against FaZe in the next round.

Snoopy joins Beans and Kremp in Boston’s 2024 CoD squad consists of Snoopy, Beans, and Kremp in a lineup that moved straight through the Boston Academy to the main CDL lineup. Nevertheless, Boston still has a slot left to complete their squad, and with rostermania still active in the offseason, that shouldn’t be an issue with the 2024 CDL season expected to begin in October this year.
