The PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL) SEA Fall 2024 has produced a new winner as Vampire Esports from Thailand emerged victorious for their first title in 2024. The victory was always in the making, as the team has always shown some consistent displays this year.
However, their best outcome from any competition was the third place they earned at the Global Open (PMGO) 2024. Vampire Esports has been dominant in the region during the fall season of the PMSL compared to their showings in the summer and spring splits.
Their latest achievement started off with a big start to the League Stage, where they got a 30-point headstart, and they remained consistent, heading to the Grand Finals till they finished the PUBG Mobile tournament, ultimately bringing in the victory.
By the time they got to the finals at the Surabaya Convention Center in Indonesia, Vampire put their aggressive nature on display and were fearless as they moved to the top of the rankings and became the only team to cross 100 eliminations in the finals.
Their final opponent was Vietnam’s D’Xavier, a team that also fairly had a good headstart point, but they found it difficult to beat off Vampire.
Overall, despite the PMSL SEA Fall 2024 happening in Indonesia, the display of Indonesian teams was poor, as none of the home teams finished in the top finish. However, RRQ and Bigetron still did enough to qualify for the PMGC 2024, as five of the top six had already secured their slot via the region route.
The 9 qualified teams from SEA for the PMGC 2024:
Countries
Alter Ego Ares (Indonesia)
Alliance (Malaysia)
Vampire Esports (Thailand)
D’Xavier (Vietnam)
Top 5 from PMSL:
Roy Esports
Team Secret
Faze Clan
RRQ RYU
Bigetron Knights
Meanwhile, a report has revealed that League co-streamers Caedrel and Ibai have recorded a 13% boost on LEC matchday in total watch hours and higher concurrent averages across the entire split.
