Valve released Dota 2 version 6.88e and for now, we see minor changes, except for those who make a living using Axe or Drow Ranger.
The new patch make minimal alterations, like Elder Titan’s Echo Stomp channel time increasing from 1.2 seconds to 1.3, or Morphling’s Intelligence gain getting reduced from 1.5 to 1.1.
But the difference is drastic for other heroes, like for Oracle, who saw its base damage decreased by 6, and Sand King, who saw its movement speed impeded by 5 points.
The ones who had it toughest were Axe, Kunkka and Ezalor, as they had big changes in crucial skills.
For Mogul Khan, his Counter Helix damage got reduced from 90/120/150/180 to 75/110/145/180. Anyone can say that the biggest change is only in the first level of the skill, but 25 damage points is 25 damage points, especially early in the game.
The Admiral’s main damage skill is the Torrent, and it had its damage reduced from 120/180/240/300 to 75/150/225/300.
Ezalor saw his Illuminate’s radius lengthened from 350 to 375, and the knockback distance of his Blinding Light was increased to 525 from 400, but he saw the manacost of his Mana Leak skill double from 75 to 150.
Yes, the new version will affect strategies, but this constant change is the factor that makes Dota 2 one of the most fun games to play in e-sports.

- Inner Vitality bonus regeneration threshhold reduced from 40% to 35%
- Stifling Dagger cast range reduced from 1200 to 825/950/1075/1200
- Smokescreen slow reduced from 25% to 19/21/23/25%
- Track manacost increased from 50 to 65
- Mana Leak manacost increased from 75 to 150
- Illuminate radius increased from 350 to 375
- Blinding Light knockback distance increased from 400 to 525
- Sand King movement speed reduced by 5
- Timbersaw base strength reduced by 1
